    This aired on CBS from 1969 when it premiered until 2023 every Christmas. NBC currently have the broadcast rights. As long as you had a TV in the house and an antennae you would have been able to watch this at Christmas time.

    Definitely should check out The Legend of Frost the Snowman. It's a feature length movie that's basically a sequel to this holiday classic. You don't see it as much, but it's a good holiday movie.
