I would love to see you guys react to Predestination, I remember really liking that movie.
00:00:35 Fact check (according to a Screen Rant article I just read):
The novel is called "All You Need Is Kill," and that was the working title for the movie, but the production team "felt it was too harsh with director Doug Liman, in particular, finding it ill-fitting for what is essentially an action comedy." That director wanted to rename it to "Live Die Repeat," and pushed hard for it, but an executive at Warner overruled it and called it "Edge of Tomorrow." The renaming and sort of rebranding of the movie to Live Die Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow "appeared to be an effort by the studio to rebrand the movie in light of its disappointing theatrical run."
Further proof of the rebranding is that the sequel is apparently gonna be called "Live Die Repeat And Repeat"
First time watching this movie. Glad I could do it with the homies. Definitely an interesting movie and a creative premise. Wasn't expecting a happy ending like that but it was a nice touch.
the original manga the movie is based off is called "All you need is Kill" the live die repeat is just for this movie as a tagline
Two Tom Cruise movies i recommend are The Last Samurai and Days of Thunder two of my personal favourites
i mean if you guys want to watch a good scifi movie with tom cruise then watch oblivion
falling asleep on helicopters is actually pretty easy apparently, my wifes been in 11 years and with the hearing protection plus just straight up hearing loss from being around them all the time its just like being rocked to sleep at a certain point
Honestly, you guys do better paying attention when its not a lot of you. This movie requires focus for a big plot. Y'all didn't joke around like normal over big moments
Watch it with every one again because this movie so amazing miss so much stuff don’t see till couple rewatches even now see new stuff every time
On the subject of sleeping on a helicopter; speaking as a vet, you learn to sleep anywhere, so long as your not on watch. Circumstances could have you up for over 24 hours, not knowing when you'll get to see a pillow again.
I love that emily blunt was 3-4 months pregnant and did not know it while filming in that heavy suit
You love that something couldve happened to the unborn? What?
He didn't mean it like that, jackface. He's pointing out wild ride of filming. The child will look back at this a lot.
You guys should watch Battle Los Angeles to watch a modern army take on aliens
PLEASE watch Inglorious Bastards
please watch the entire minority series, ill watch every one
This wasn't a bad movie! First time I've watched it today so thank you! <3
The novel its based on is actually called "All you need is kill". The president of WB didn't want to have "Kill" in the title and they didn't think it fit the theme of the movie. They originally wanted to change the title to "Live. Die. Repeat." But instead used it as just the tagline. Edge of Tomorrow is the name they chose and the author of the novel changed the title to Edge of Tomorrow as well
A manga novel right?
Nah that full metal alchemist reference got me good lol
I shattered my leg in three places this weekend and y’all’s videos are one of the only things getting me through rn. This is one of my favorite movies so getting to watch it with y’all made my day. Thank you
I unironically love this movie. I remember finally watching it like a year after release, with very little interest. Went in with low expectations, came away recommending it to people who like action movies
Alos if you guys didn't notice, the Scottish General, Brendan Gleeson, also plays Mad Eye in the Harry Potter films
Also*
I've never watched this movie, I'm excited to rewatch it cause I've only heard good things, but I know part of the concept and now I really want to rewatch Palm Springs.
Palm springs is a good one, I just rewatched it this week, I think they would enjoy it
This movie was so much better than I was expecting. I remember when this came out and it just looked so stupid, it looked like just another generic action movie, but holy shit that was good!
If you liked this, you need to watch "The Tomorrow War" with Chris Pratt
Lol don't set them up like that 😄 they're gonna compare it to this movie if they watch the tomorrow war and it won't hold up
Hell yeah! I was really surprised when i watched this movie the first time. i was surprised by how good it was. id love to see you guys watch it again.
No, the original light novel this was based on is called “All You Need is Kill”, which was the working title of this Hollywood movie adaptation until they changed it to “Edge of Tomorrow”, and then changed it again to “Live. Die. Repeat.” for home video releases, and now they just use both of those two latter titles.
Also, there’s now an anime movie adaption of the same light novel going by the same name as the novel, and it follows the novel far more closely than the Hollywood adaptation. I’m not sure when it’ll become available for us to watch/access though, there doesn’t seem to be much news on that.
