Hell yeah! I was really surprised when i watched this movie the first time. i was surprised by how good it was. id love to see you guys watch it again.
No, the original light novel this was based on is called “All You Need is Kill”, which was the working title of this Hollywood movie adaptation until they changed it to “Edge of Tomorrow”, and then changed it again to “Live. Die. Repeat.” for home video releases, and now they just use both of those two latter titles.
Also, there’s now an anime movie adaption of the same light novel going by the same name as the novel, and it follows the novel far more closely than the Hollywood adaptation. I’m not sure when it’ll become available for us to watch/access though, there doesn’t seem to be much news on that.
