Ironically the same day this came out is the same day I lost who I thought was my best friend. Rough day, but I'm glad it happened because I was able to see his true colors and hopefully be able to move on.

It’s actually kind of funny to see that Armie Hammer played Jackson Storm, makes a lot of sense lol, also, I feel like people get pressed too much over the most random things. Larry the cable guy may not be the best actor, but he was super excited and happy to make all the movies, it was special for him to be apart of all that. Most actors are just out for a paycheck and could give a crap about the people who watch their movies. He’s a chill dude and I never minded his antics in the movies, actually feel like the second one was the best, had all the humor in it.

I think my issue with Cars 2 is that it lost the core of what I believe made Cars so good, this heartwarming feel of a story about what really matters in life, its such a genuine story about appreciating the little things and caring for what you have over meaningless wants, that the second one just felt really out of place and disconnected. It's still a fun movie it just doesn't fit the vibe that the first movie set. On the note of a car movie you should watch, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Speed Racer!! Literally the best anime adaption ever put to film and almost a perfect film in its own right!!

They should’ve had McQueen go out with a bang in this movie and actually winning beating Storm in the race but it started with him and he’s the main character, towards the end pass it on to Cruz. That would’ve been way better. Cars 1 was the best in the trilogy

That wouldn’t have been realistic because McQueen legitimately had no chance beating Storm. Lightning could barely touch 200 and Storm was reaching 214. Let’s be serious. Him realizing it was up for him and passing it when he wanted to was better for him as a character and just logical thinking

There IS a deleted scene from the first movie. After Lightning gets separated from Mac and before ending up in Radiator Springs, he ends up in the middle of a car graveyard. There's a flash where you see a tree that's grown THROUGH a dead car. It never went beyond storyboards because it was deemed too scary for kids.

Even though McQueen is in his early 40s in this movie, the fact that they don’t visibly age up the characters, they don’t say how big the time gaps are between movies, and the voice is the same made me think he was no more than 30 when this first came out.
