   Although I never played the games, I do remember walking into the living room and seeing my dad playing them. And even though he doesn't really have a "favorite", I think The Last of Us franchise will always have a special place in his heart because I was the same age as Ellie, in the first game, so he always saw her as an extension of me. And when the second one released I was still the same age as her so he made decisions as if it were me there.

   Apparently the first episode was originally divided into 2 episodes. The first episode would have ended after that final Sarah scene in the 2003 timeline. But the show runners thought it would be better to have Ellie in the first episode instead of making viewers wait a week to have her show up, so they decided to combine the 2 episodes into one long one.

   Fungi fact: we've discovered a bit more recently that cordiceps don't actually spread to the brain of the ants. In fact it's suspiciously absent of the brain. Instead ot goes to the muscles.The corciceps don't brainwash the ants, they pupeteer them from the inside, and the ant is likely conscious the whole time and cannot do anything.

   So Ruffs comment freaked me out and after some research Cordyceps has not evolved to infect other creatures like the deer thats a whole other disease called CWD or also called the Zombie deer disease

    I kept waiting for them to recognize Johnathan from the Mummy movies at the beginning scene. 😭 John Hannah is in so many cool things abd he never gets real recognition.  💗

       The other doctor in that scene was in the Twilight movies…. He played the really ancient Volturi vampire named Marcus who’s constantly tired and just wants to die.
