why did no one remind H-man of them explaining the mechanism of her being weak to the point where we were given a deathclock?

I don't think H-Man was every implying Avdol was useless, but I DO think his comment about Avdol being shafted was invalid. At this point there's literally been 2 fights, one against the protagonist and another that he wasn't even involved in because they couldn't risk blowing up the plane. I don't think that's being shafted.

To be fair... they're sorta stupid. And drunk logic is a new plain of existance.

I would say H-man is correct there actually, Holly is too weak to have a stand, it doesn't mean the stand itself is weak and bad.

However we know that a stands strength is relative to their mental strength. The fact that her mentality is weak proves the stand would be weak

old post but: it proves the exact opposite. If it was tied directly to the mental state, the Stand itself would never be able to kill her.
And later on we have a Stand that possessed people and has no owner (the sword). And if we look at JoJo pt4, there is a bizarre stand that literally kills its user.
Theres one solid motto about Stands that every viewer should keep in mind: "The rules explained are always correct, except for when they aren't".
