I find it funny how it was earlier said "i would love a game on Nifty; something like hollowknight" but not notice how nifty's weapon is a nail that looks just like Hornet's AND Nifty is heavily linked to bugs and wears a red dress. even called a bug during the fight
I'm so disappointed they baited us with Lilith twice in a row, with the first two season finales. I mean, from what I've looked up, seems like there were good reasons behind it, but still disappointed to not really get any Lilith this season.
Also annoyed that you were fucking around when Alastor got out of Vox's deal and didn't really react to it at all, but it's fine...

Fun fact. Brighter is the only song Vox sings this season that isn't a reprise showing how he keeps taking from those around him and claims ownership of it.
Also his pin in the flashback changes from a Goldfish, to a ship, to an anchor, and finally a shark fin.
"When we get up there" wasn't a reprise, same with "Vox Populi"
Important note about the scene after vox broadcasting his announcement in heaven is that the citizens of heaven didn't actually know anything about the exterminations until that point
In fact, the exorcist angels were kept completely a secret from anyone except Seraphim and the exorcist angels themselves until it came up at Charlie's hearing in the Hall of the Speaker, and at that point only the higher up angels present there learned of it. so Vox's announcement is actually the first time the vast majority of heaven's populous learns about the exterminations
A big part of Lillith finally answering the phone at the end is that whatever deal she had made got broke when Alistor broke those 3 contracts. Either she was part of Al's deal with Rosie, or there was a 4th deal that broke they they didn't show. Al was told to go off the air 7 years ago. The exterminations started 7 years ago. Lillith
disappeared 7 years ago. Whatever deal was struck probably make Lillith unable to speak with anyone in hell this whole time. Now that Al is free, maybe Lillith is too? She only answered Charlie's calls after those 3 contracts were broken/fulfilled.
If Lute was able to try to order Lillith to go back down to Hell to deal with Charlie then I'm thinking that after Adam died there was nothing stopping her from doing so. It's been made to seem like being in Heaven was a choice since Lute was like "if you want to stay up here, you'll go down to Hell and deal with your bitch daughter". Whatever Lillith's motives are seem self-serving at this moment and even by Lucifer and Charlie's account she was good at being a queen but not so good at paying attention to her own family. She's probably pushing Charlie to get stronger for some reason just like Alastor and Rosie seem to be and now that Charlie has stopped the exorcisms and prevented war between Heaven and Hell this is the perfect time to start riding her coattails.
Where did you get that Lilith was in any way connected to the deals? The only deal we know she had was the one with Adam, and that was broken this whole season.
I am very confident that the only reason the other overlords joined in was because Zestial and Carmilla helped first. The 2 most respected and powerful overlords.
I can’t believe we STILL haven’t gotten full demon Charlie. She was so upsettingly bland and stagnant this ENTIRE show (but especially this season). And Lucifer did absolutely nothing? Just let himself get used as a battery?? Why tease the pride and the power if we never get to see it? I’ve defended this show a lot, but this was just… unsatisfying.
Maybe you were caring about the wrong things then? What I was interested in was the stuff actually being built up like the Vees coming apart, Alastor's plan, etc. And what do you know, that stuff actually paid off!
Also, Charlie giving Vaggi full management over the hotel was in fact a very big character development moment for her, but I guess that doesn't matter if she's not going demon form or whatever. :/
He cant just solv everything on his own that would be anticlimactic, and Charlie's not much of a fighter unless she has too, which she didn't because alastor could hold his own this time, relax we'll see more
I bet somone already pointed it out but this whole season Charlie kept trying to talk to her mom, abd be reassured by both Lucifer and Vaggie that she be proud of her.
Meanwhile. Coz was using Lilith as a figure to rile up the sinners to his cause.
In the end it was Charlie who like her mother used her vice to get all of hell to join in her song to save the ring. Yes not dying had a hand in the pentagramers but they only joined after Charlie and Emily started using their vices.

Theres actually a really good fanfiction that puts Cane in the hotel trying to redeem himself. It's called the Cane saga and its really emotional. Emily is a huge part of it
I'm sure he'll show up at some point, especially since Abel mentioned him ("wish I were your braver son") in his chunk of the final song. My money is on Cain teaming up with Lute for revenge, but who knows.

I feel as if you guys keep forgetting. The regular Angels like the citizens of Heaven do not know about the exterminations, it was a secret only between the higher-ups so Ruff's comment about "It's different when it affects us" is invalid because the citizens did. not. know.

I wonder if Angel leaving the hotel and being caught up in his self-loathing is why he ends up at I.M.P for the Helluva Boss crossover. I'm really curious whether that'll be part of Helluva Boss or Hazbin Hotel because they'll probably use it to go further into his past and him murdering his dad. Also, goddamn, I didn't expect a Pentious and Sera song to hit me as hard as More Than Anything from Season 1.
I loved the long play by Alastor and how it was expertly handled writing wise as a way to basically call in 2 favors for the price of 1. Such a schemer!
Also Emily and Charlie's energy around each other basically solidified my OTP 3some of Charlie/Vaggi/Emily.
I assume God isn’t involved in this because if he is based off of God, then he didn’t need to do anything. Cause he already knew what would happen.

Nifty overlord confirmed?
Definitely seems to be confirmed since the only beings using their Care Bear Stare were Charlie (a nephilim), Emily (an angel), and the overlords (which Husk is still technically of that power level since he sold his soul to KEEP his power but lost the title itself). I've seen people theorize that Niffty is the overlord of roaches and rats and I LOVE that theory lol.
I think so, yes, since the other sinners weren't helping and she was, she must have been one.
- The reason why Sera doesn't try to approach God/The Speaker, is because she was already told that this is HER cross to bear, it has to be her choice, otherwise she's not actually growing as a leader.
-An extra fucked up detail...when Vox's TV falls on his head, we kinda see the shock reaching everyone, so it's likely that he basically pulled a Jonestown and got everyone in the room killed.
Absolute banger of a finale, once again. There is one major thing I want to point out because it immediately struck me and won't leave my thoughts : Nifty joined the others to protect against the explosion. She joined a seraphim, the princess of Hell, and all the others who joined were Overlords. That means she's on par with them. Nifty is an Overlord spending her time pretending to only be a maid. Now that I think about it, we've got hints about it throughout the entire season, including when she summoned her bugs, and Velvet was surprised that she was able to fight her. Either Nifty doesn't realize her power, doesn't want to get bothered by all the power struggles, or she's scheming an ever bigger scheme than Alastor and Vox have done throughout these 2 seasons.
Also Pentious is our precious snake boy and I can't tell you how much I smiled each time he was on screen. MVP of the show so far.
They're rarely mentioned them, but A24 deserves massive credit for Hazbin Hotel. Amazon Prime is just the distributor, A24 is the actual production company that actually picked up the show and funds it, and they are criminally undermentioned, so I'm doing it here. A24 is based af (and so is Amazon Prime for picking up distribution).

ehh, he would have gotten farther at least. But I imagine some combination of Lillith, Charlie, Lute, Sera etc would have ended his ass once he got to heaven.
They were all more concerned about the massive deathtoll of a war, vox was never going to be able to take over heaven. remember rosie making fun of alastor for thinking he could fight Adam, somebody charlie stood up to relatively well despite not knowing how to fight, and again...if he did get to heaven, using Lillith's movement, I suspect she would have intervened in vicious fashion.
