Just a heads up: Daenerys is the only Targaryen who has ever been fireproof. Other Targaryen's have been fire resistant to a point, but she's the only one who is completely fire proof. So Jon wouldn't be fire proof like she is! :) You guys will see this more in HOTD, the Targs can be burned.
I can see why travel times might be confusing, but remember than the whitewalkers are literally walking the whole way. Even with the Night King on a dragon, he's gonna stick with the army to lead them
Why didn’t they just cut brans arm off so the night king wouldn’t know where to find them to buy time?
Also the thing about Targaryen's not being hurt by fire isn't true, Dany was a unique case and the birth of her dragons was considered like a magical event. The Targaryen's used to fight eachother with Dragons they can 100% be hurt with fire lol
lets not forget that robb saved qyburn, imagine how things would have turned out if he didnt
Dude's! Her ovaries have been screaming since he first patted Drogon in Season 7. She's a single mom and her oldest child with anger management issues engaged in a form of physical affection with him when he let him place his hand on his snout. She was already intrigued prior to that, but as soon as she saw that her oldest and favorite child liked him, it was game over.
If yall remember in the very first episode they literally said that it took the king one MONTH to make the trip from kings landing to winterfell and Jaime made it in one fucking night or two like wtffffff
00:09:25 If Jon were smart, he’d just use King Torrhen Stark as an analogy. Every Northerner would immediately understand. For context, Torrhen was the last King in the North before Aegon invaded Westeros. Torrhen marched his army out to fight Aegon’s but the moment he saw the dragons, he surrendered and pledged loyalty to the Targaryens. He single-handedly saved thousands of Northmen by just bending the knee. He was ever after known as the King Who Knelt. For thousands of years, the Starks remained loyal to the Targaryens until the supposed kidnapping of Lyanna and the wrongful execution of Rickard and Brandon Stark and there wasn’t a new King in the North until Robb came along.
This is the exact same thing Jon has done, swear fealty to a Targaryen to save his people.
21:30 Cersei let him in for more than just keeping him in line. She has to sell whose child she is holding.
The Nightking army is just walking slow af the entire time, they're in no rush at all. Jamie started travelling to Winterfell at the end of the last season and Theon sailed there. Whilst I get the critism about people jumping around I do think they just do a good job at explaining what time has passed. Also IDC what anybody says I love S8E2, it's one of my fave episodes.
Don't do a good job I meant
I still just can't watch Arya undress. It's so f*cking weird that they decided to do that.
"sansa is the smartest person ive ever met" is one of the biggest memes of the show
the six episodes this season wasnt an hbo decision it was the producers decision, hbo offered them a budget large enough to make more episodes but the producers chose to pool the budget for a couple episodes so they would be more spectacular so they ran out of money and had to keep it at 6 episodes
Sansa was right though without realizing it. Daenerys had already pledged her army to Jon after she saw the Night King and the Army of the Dead. Jon gave up his crown and the North afterwards.
As for the Night King leaving messages, he's been doing that since Season 1. In the very first episode, he leaves a pattern of limbs in the very first scene of Season 1. But at that point you don't know anything about the Night King.
The army of the dead moves really slow, weeks and month past by in this show without notice
The two cannot get married because there will always be a power dynamic as to who is the primary monarch and who is the consort.
Also Jon has northern values and incest isn’t one of them
Interview with the Vampire is perfect for spooky season!
they were not force to 6 and 7 episode this biggest show on the planet they could ask for 2 more season. They wanted to end show quiclky to make there star wars that they didn't even get
So fucking hype. I love Season 8 Episode 2. It is where so many characters get everything they're due, all the good stuff that they deserved. I am not looking forward to everything after this episode lol... I'm curious and excited to see what the bois think about this season.
Sansa has good points but lacks perspective.
Meh, both sides lack perspective. One is so focused on the threat of the Night King that they can't see past it (and that's fair, since the threat is immediate and seemingly unstoppable), and the other is still sceptical of the threat and focuses on what they see as real - the winter, the power struggles, their home. Both sides have good points, both can't react to the full picture - that's just how it is sometimes.
She's muh queen
😬😬😬😅🤣🤣
I love s08! It's not the best, but it's still good.
Lets gooooo!
