There's an old Mesoamerican weapon called a macuahuitl that's basically a flat club with shards of obsidian fixed into a groove on both sides of it, so you end up with a club turned sideways or a horrific volcanic glass saw-axe on the 'edges'. Brutal weapon, and it'd be perfect for the dragonglass of this setting.
I loved season 6, and its finale is one of the best episodes of the entire show, as far as I'm concerned. 7 and 8 aren't as horrible as some people love saying they are. They're perfectly good television. It's just that the first few seasons were *SO* good that there was next to no way to live up to them with no source material in the books to draw from.
I think season 6 is absolute fire. And honestly, as someone who also just enjoys things a little more than the average person, haha, I also loved season 7. Never watched season 8 though so maybe subconsciously I didn't like 7 as much?
See, Cersai could have returned to Casterly Rock, and had a perfectly happy ending living out her days there. But she just couldn't let go of power. That was the only reason she had beef with Marg, because if she came Queen, Cersai would no longer be Queen, and she could not accept that. It's kinda the same story with Rob. Had he retreated back to Winterfell, he could have taken it back and had a perfectly happy ending as the King of the North.

real talk though, Snow showing up does speak a lot to Sam's character. The animals in this world create bonds with people that reflect their nature. I'm a massive book fan, and I think season 6 is still very high quality television. The finale of season 6 is a top 5 episode of the entire show. Seasons 7 is very mixed for me with stuff I love and stuff I hate, and there's only a handful of scenes in season 8 I truly enjoyed.
All the wars and chaos of House Targaeryan over the 100 years he lived, all the many ways for a brother of the night's watch to die, and Aemon dies of old age. You've got to respect that.

see the showmakers were meant to make a new star wars triology and thats why they rushed the end, HBO wanted to give them way more episodes or even more seasons but they wanted out ... and then they effed the end so bad that they also not got the star wars triology now xD so tehy failed completly
overall the end is fine its even how i expected the end to be from season 2 onwards but its just "rushed" (and one episode is so dark filmed even if you are in a black room you can barely see things so that was also why people got rly upset) ...

I don't think it's really a group think thing with disliking the last few seasons lol. They're okay, but they're eh. I was excited and entertained watching them when they aired tho, the parts I could see anyway. I know several people who won't rewatch the show at all though, not even the earlier seasons, because they disliked the final seasons
I’m come to terms with the final section of the show but I wish they would of kept it 10 episodes in a season and didn’t rush the final season I would have of much rather waited for preferred ending

If you guys plan on continuing to hit your swords against each other I recommend getting weapons designed for stage combat or similar. Hitting prop weapons against each other can actually be really dangerous.
They tend not to have vlade extend into the hilt which is a pretty crucial design portion for user safety. Even without an edge if you're mildly unlucky and it breaks it can cause pretty severe injury.

Season 6 and 7 are phenomenal. Season 8 has great episodes. The ending pissed a lot of folk off, me included! You guys may love it .

You can tell the writing is starting to go downhill a little. The dialogues don’t hit as hard. Also remember when Tyrion told Shae about his wife and shae said he was dumb for believing it because a girl who was just assaulted wouldn’t sleep with a man right after. Well gilly did just that in this episode. Around here is when the story starts deviating from the books.

When Tyrion told the story about his first wife. that it was all faked, Shae told him that no woman who was almost raped would have taken another person to bed that same night. and here we see them actually doing that exact same thing. but it wasn't faked.

I mean … season 8 is Action, cool fights, emotions and Everything, and probably fun to watch and enjoy on it’s own
The thing why everyone hates it is because it literally abandoned all storylines that were build up for 7 seasons. Characters acting Like different people, decisions that don’t make Sense, halve the mysteries that were build up Not answered or even Adressed. Etc. etc.

I would say season 6 is fine, season 7, it was ok. In hindsight, you could see in S7 what was about to happen in S8. Dan and Dave were already starting to rush things, everybody was fast traveling, storylines were being condensed, but S7 provides a lot of cool shit, so its easy to kind of overlook it.
Its like being thrown a bunch of sugar, but no nutrition. Its great while you're eating it, but I regret it later.

I will never understand the people who say season 6 is bad. It’s my favorite season honestly. It has some of the most insane and iconic episodes of all television.
