Mance is leading that massive army to the wall, the redhead guy leading the small group south of the wall is Tormund Giantsbane
Hot take about Tyrion - how is that not a tie? Who technically dies first, the person who got mortally wounded first, or the one who's head was crushed? It's not like one's MORE dead
It's a battle to the death, not a battle to mortally wound. It's pretty obviously the one who dies first.
27:48 He gave them the Ironeye ult :'D
Completely unrelated BUT… are y’all gonna watch the 5th John wick? It’s Ballerina. 😁
The red headed dude is Tormund Giantsbane, not Mance!
In the books, the nights watch gathers people from the surrounding villages, including moles town. Essentially refugees from the raids that the Thenns, Ygritte, and Tormund perform. They boost the numbers for the nights watch slightly, but a play more as something bigger to protect than just the castle. Also, in the books, there are no walls on castle black, save THE wall of course, so the southern attackers are able to assault the nights watch without scaling any walls, just head on attack. Regardless if the books are ever finished, they are masterpieces, and i believe Martins estate will in no way allow for the story to die out. The amount of money they could make, even if they just use notes hes made to complete the story would be ridiculous. Read them!!!
if you guys never watched the series The Walking Dead I highly recommend it, especially the uncensored version which is on the DVD
you guys don't need to use AI for that instagram image, I'd draw that shit for free lmao
no but fr commission an artist to do it instead if you actually want it. please don't use AI. <3
i figure that was a joke, buuuut just in case lol
There is so much nuance to Ser Alliser, it's a shame most people overlook it
please don't buy the throne until you've finished season 8, there's a chance you'll change your mind lmao
I love how they forgot who Mance was and still think Tormund is Mance like John did at first.
"And a killer was born."
Fuckin' Ollie, am I right?
So fun guys! This episode is such a banger. Finale next??! Shiiit it’s about to get real baby! Yeah this is one of those shows that you just want the next one every time. All of them (in my opinion)
Watching you guys react to GoT has been such a highlight for me since joining, really hope you stay on this world after you've finished GoT and start House of the Dragon :D
This is the episode where I completely lost my shit, Ygrittes death just hits me so hard because our of all the couples this show has I was hoping Jon and Ygritte made it. The way he held her with the Stark music playing in the background as the battle went on, absolute cinema. Perfection, literal perfection.
I always look forward to episode 9's, it either entails a battle or a Stark death. Season 1 episode 9 Ned dies, 2x9 The Battle of Blackwater, 3x9 Robb and Catelyn die, and now 4x9 the battle at The Wall.
One of my favorite episodes of the series. This battle is so insane and the hype of the wall finally facing the wilding opposition 🔥
That’s not fucking Mance tho! That’s Tormund Giants Bane Goddammit!!!
If I remember correctly the female actress that played as Jon’s lover is in fact his wife since they’re married in real life.
Hearing them speculate on the white walkers is giving me ptsd from my first watch
29:10 - "Kitchen don't fucking play" is the thought that I think we all had when we saw the cleaver on his shoulder, lmaooooo. Such a badass scene.
Friendly reminder that Ygritte is actually the one who shot the arrow through that little kid’s father from behind. Olly was getting his revenge.
They actually do have official history and lore videos that go along with each season. You just have to have someone watch a few of them first because they do contain some spoilers for House of the Dragons. I think it's season 5 &6? The rest are fine, informative and narrated by the cast from the perspective of the character so you can get two versions of the same legends and history. It's pretty cool.
Yes, please react to the lore videos!
Hey, don't fret that you "only" have 4 seasons left. You still have House of the Dragon to watch after GOT ends ;)
I so, so, so hope they'll check out HotD when they're done with GoT! I feel like there's so many characters and scenes in that show they will enjoy too :D
***SSPOILER***
It's sad Ygrittedied, but it's okay cuz Rose Leslie (Ygritte) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow) got married irl <3
I mean, they already saw it before posting it so not really a spoiler. If you mean spoiler for other people then they should not be down in the comments until after watching the video.
