In Medieval Europe, to legitimize a bastard, you could do it via 3 or 4 ways : 1. public acknowledgement, papal /royal degree, noble degree, a parliamentary act, finally the marriage the parents.
Well crap, Eric spoiled me on The Last of Us. I've held off on watching it because I want to play the game first, but I haven't gotten around to playing it yet.
PLEASE check out Misfits. Y’all will laugh your ass off & it’s a great show in general as well as being hilarious
Apparently Pedro Pascal fell asleep during this scene. I guess he was hot and the fake blood was nice and cool.
He is* hot...
Ramsey actor also played Mick Mars in The Dirt!
And this was the episode in which I started to dislike Daenerys. Yeah he spied on her but if not for him she would have nothing. She wouldn't have even gotten her dragons if he hadn't killed Drogos blood rider when she was giving birth because the dothraki soldier would've went in there and killed her, and thusly she never would have an army and a city to rule. She owes it all to him, and the stone cold attitude she had when exiling him showed me the lack of love she can have towards those who are utterly devoted to her. I will say though, I'm glad she didn't have him executed. Jorah is by far one of my favorites of the secondary characters. He somewhat is the Borimir from lord of the rings in this show
"Hard times make hard men. That's why we use swords as fidget toys." Has got to be one of my favorite quotes of all time. Thanks Boom
Would love for them to watch Vikings once they are done with GOT
I always cover the screen during the moment when the Mountain pushes Oberyn to the floor. I just can't stomach it . A character I loved in the short amount we got from him and sucb a gruesome death
personally the real moment of change for Jorah when she became fully devoted to Dany was when he stood up to Viserys. "and yet here I stand" was such a cool moment, especially when you consider those are his house' words
About the legitimizing Ramsay; to be legitimized you would need the consent of whoever has power on the Iron Throne; so legally Tommen, but basically Tywin. Everything the lords of the seven kingdom legally have to be consented by whoever that person is
51:58 - Jaime's face here is so hilarious to me
Theon looks like Harry Styles
19:55 - okay, to be blunt; no. that was definitely not kissing back, in likelihood she was paralyzed and didn't know what to do when the guy who saved her life multiple times, basically grooming her through out her very fucked up childhood and who just told her, that she would've been his daughter in another world and then suddenly kissing her. She had no power in that situation, and he basically held her life in his hands and she knew that.
Playing devils advocate, Sansa tended to talk to people the way she talked to Arya in season 1
Will there be 3 episodes of GOT a week? Or is it random?
diamond doesn't have a schedule, there may be 4 one week, there may be none the next. It really depends
Pretty sure there has yet to be a none week
The hound " Yarp"
The fact Ramsey Snow is the only person we've seen brought into a name is a big deal. We know they can be brought into families should the patriarch will it so means a lot. Since John wasn't
Lol Eric's sigh when Ruff mentions the final season was so relatable.
Weve peaked boys, strap in for the back 9.
this episode is the reaction i've been waiting for, billy
p.s. i love the red wolf
Bronn was so right about what could happen if he fought The Mountain when he said, "One misstep, and I'm dead"
Rip Oberyn. Another good one bites the dust.
And Sansa learned some really hard lessons but boy did she pay attention. She’s finally playing the game.
Also Misfits is a GREAT show
To this day I cannot even keep my eyes open for the Oberyn scene. Like I cannot see the head in smitherins or I might vomit. No different today
Didn't expect two more episodes, amazing.
What’s funny about Alfie’s sister viewing him as a stoner loser is that that’s basically how Yara views Theon
If I had a nickel for every time an HbO series brutally killed Pedro pascal I'd have 2 nickels which is weird because it happened fucking twice
It's cool seeing one reaction group I love watching reference another group of mine. Love Blind Wave and they got a wall of weapons lol
Ramsay being villainous is cool but I think my only problem with it is that he's so in your face villainous. Like the Lannisters and little finger can be considered "evil" ig by doing villainous things but at the end of the day the way it's written it's like well makes sense. For Ramsay its just like spite reason Ramsay will do the evil thing for sake of evil. Like Cersei is a shit but is a very deep character and although Tyrion is my favorite I understand why she wants to kill him.
But that kind of person is REAL. I honestly think this character type is under-used. I agree, I would be put out if Ramsay was the main antagonist. But he portrays the darker side of humanity, one that didn't only exist in the middle ages. Iwan Rheon does such a phenomenal job in his depiction of a sadistic psychopath given power.
He does evil things because he’s a psychopath and enjoys doing those things. He’s not in your face evil. These people existed in history and still exist to this day.
when Ramsey got an official name. such and awesome moment, just a shame it was them doing it. that should have been Jon and Ned
Oberyn did have him, he just couldn't let his revenge go. If he had just stayed back and let him bleed out, he'd still be alive.
At the end of the series you guys should look up the kill counts of the main characters but try to guess it first.
