Oh man I forgot about these two episodes! <3
you say "imagine you steal a horse and your in with teh rapers"
but the law for rapists is castration or wall, for horse thiefs its death or wall.
horse thiefs even in our world was normaly a death sentences if you were cought it was like the worst you can do
The Mountain that Rides HAS been in the show since season one, the character has, just not this actor. The Mountain was the one who cut into the head of his horse with his great sword after he lost to Ser Loras during the Hand's Tourney for Ned. But I understand the hype for him. The season is a third over, but things have only just begun!
Yeah, like everyone's saying, that scene with Jamie and Cersei was dumb as hell. It was not like that at all in the books, and I'm pretty sure the show never addresses it after this. I would personally ignore it going forward.
As people have already pointed out, the scene between Jaime and Cersei was way more clearly consensual in the books, and both the directors and the actors stated that it was supposed to be percieved as consensual by the middle of it but that they missed the target because they were surprised by the amount of discussion the episode brought. So just act like it never happened because it is never referenced again. It was a fuck-up in terms of directing, nothing more.
Jamie's rape scene was bizarre to me because in the book it was consensual. I honestly don't why they changed it for the show -- it felt out of character for him.
Tyrian tried being honest with her he's told her multiple times to leave because it's not safe for her there but she refuses to listen
"yyyeaaAXHGUBZZXCEEH"
You mentioned the idea of Jaime starting to view Tyrion as an equal. Jaime has actually always treated Tyrion as his equal since childhood. Back in season 1 when Catelyn took Tyrion prisoner, Jaime attacked Ned in the streets over it, not because his capture makes the family look bad(the reason Tywin cared) but because he genuinely was worried about his little brother’s safety.
Also be careful what your wish forrrrrrrrrrrr
Cersei brings out Jaime’s worst. His arc is not a rise, it’s a rollercoaster.
The Hound and Arya have so much good chemistry. It’s so fun to watch.
Pod is OP.
Each season of GoT has a Lore video that. Gives more info about the history of Westeros, families, etc. Lots of world building that they couldn’t fit in the show. I recommend watching each one at the end of season, not at the beginning.
Oberyn is our sex-positive Prince. If you really wanna see young Pedro, he’s in a one off episode of Buffy.
Episode 2 with the robo boys, hell yea
you have seen the mountain multiple times lmao. you saw him in season 1 joust against loras in season 1 and cut of a horses head. you also saw him in season 2 at harrenhal when arya and friends were captured. the actors were different these first two times. and hafthor is the third actor they use who you haven't seen yet.
i think youre forgetting, but jamie and tyrion have always had a good relationship.
The PO box getting burned out felt like karma haha,
... before I get flamed, I know it's not their fault... it's just funny x
5:22 Jaime and Tyrion always got along. Jaime immediately attacked Ned Stark because Cat kidnapped Tyrion, and Tyrion had complete confidence Jaime would come fight for his trial by combat at the Vale. It's his dad and sister that hate him.
Daenerys firing the shackles is a perfect moment 👌 really enjoying your reactions. Loads of love from Scotland 💛
Man I just lobrrr brrr burrrrr, is there really noway to atleat edit out the ear pricing brrrrs when this happens
I'm sure they will for YouTube, but the full length is always minimal editing, hence why they're able to get it to us fairly fast. Editing takes time.
You've already seen the mountain in the previous seasons although played by 2 different actors and will appear again played by a 3rd actor lol. You first saw the character cut off the head of his horse in that jousting competition in season 1 i think.
Sucks the audio issues happened but it’s no big, still enjoyed the reaction! Ty for the content, guys! Side note ruff your hair looks good like this!
I am so happy the audio was good enough to hear boom say "I can read what was on her lips" LOL
Dude's I'm gonna try my best, but that audio is so fucking painful to listen to 😅
I really recommend boom extra history, kings and generals, or overly sarcastic productions on YouTube I like when he goes on about history and teaches the others something.
rip mixer
Not-so-fun-fact; Jaime in the books isn't tutored by Bronn, they really don't have too much of a relationship actually; the only reason they added it in was because the book character was supposed to be Ser Ilyn Payne's (the guy who's tongue was ripped out by the Mad King and who executed Ned) actor was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer by the time he was supposed to teach Jaime.
Jamie is a good dude, he just has bad moments. if i remember rightly. he does only good from now on
The scene with Jaime and Cersei is really weird. The directors have said that it was intended to be consensual (Cersei was just reluctant at first,) and going forward the show treats it like it was fully consensual.
But goddamn is it *terribly* executed, one of the worst scenes in the show.
joffery and rob were 2 out of 3 names the red priestess said when she threw the leaches in the fire
at least the audio mixer lives through the episode
First Ned, now Joffrey. The audio gods have it out for you guys.
Damn it sucks that the audio problems happened, I remember when it happened before or atleast something similar. I enjoy hearing your guys commentary and conversations. Still enjoyed the reaction though. I always look forward to the Game of Thrones videos. Keep up the great work guys
Are you guys using the Roadcaster Pro 2 for your audio mixing? If so, sometimes this issue happens to me as well. My issue is that my PC sees it as a power supply and sometimes my audio gets screwed up. Worst of all, I will put my PC to sleep and it won't wake up because the power consumption is coming from the mixer, not the PSU.
4 episodes bookeded by weddings and murder, purple wedding
That scene with jaime and cersei was supposed to be consensual, it is in the book,s and the writer and actors said it was, but it's just a really weirdly directed and acted scene. I don't know what they were doing with that.
There was a moment where I had to turn volume down from static, but a great 2nd episode, onto 3rd now. This season has my favorite Tyrion moment.
Man it's crazy how you guys have sound issues on practically every important episode possible it's honestly really funny but this video is almost unwatchable also crazy how you guys don’t have a set up to see Or hear what’s going on
On the upside Sean, you can say you have half of Ned Starks sword called Ice since it was his sword Tywin reforged in the beginning of the season. The downside, you have Joffery's sword lol.
I love how Loras and Oberyn giving each other bedroom eyes was so powerful it interrupted your discussion
That was extremely funny.
Yes, Westeros is the uk with an upside down ireland glued to the bottom. Hadrian's wall and The Wall were built on almost the exact same spot if you overlay both maps. All of game of thrones is heavily inspired by actual history, to the point that I've seen history buffs predict events purely off their knowledge of medieval history.
Oof i forgot about the jaime rape scene. Can't talk much about it due to spoilers but it's definitely the first glimpse of how bad D&D's decision making often gets when they decide to not follow the books.
It’s a bummer that the audio glitched on another set of important episodes. Thanks for the heads up at the beginning guys!
Little Fd up detail for you... In the books Ramsey names a new dog after the girls that give him a good "chase" before he catches them...
Transformer audio again lol. Doesn't bother me too much.
grrm is 4/4 with episodes of the show, if only he was 7/7 with the main books 😔
The audio is SO much better than when this happened the last time.
What show were they watching the last time it happened? It was a while back, I doubt it's the same piece of equipment lol
It was game of thrones. Ned's death
Not even that bad, agreed, much better.
The static and crackling makes me wanna throw up lmao
same, you should have saw our faces when the audio device just wouldn't turn back on after this recording
