My man, Pod the ROD
I'm not a fan of how the show plays down Jamie's abilities as a fighter. In the books it's clear that him being chained was the only reason Brienne could have possibly won.
It just comes off as a very lazy attempt to make her more important by putting down another character, which is a trend with a lot of media that I'm not a fan of.
absolute bs, he is told over and over again to be the best fighter, he was chained and sitting for over a year that was shown to be clearly the reason and brienne teasing him ...
if you cant read sutle comments dont say your imaginations as facts xD the only one lazy here was you not understanding anything xD
I love how the "Women, am I right?" meme came this time from a character and not from you guys.
Kit and Rose met making GoT in 2011 and got married in 2018.
Ah good ol Podrick. He’s one of my favs.
Ruff asking for possible reminder has me remember, wont say what for but boom has a series finale gong in whenever that is
in Essos the main language is High Valyrian and "Valar Morghulis" is High Valyrian for "all men must die", Dany is in Astapor in Slavers Bay currently, which is in southern Essos, Braavos, where Syria Forrell and and Jaqen Hagar are from in in northwest Essos.
either he is hung like a horse or he talked to them and that was so refreshing to them that they loved it
Or he simply asked them what they wanted
maybe both? whether hes hung like a horse or not Podrick seems like the type of dude to have an actual conversation before he gets down to business
(book spoilers) there's something so genuinely hilarious about the near character assassination Edmure received going from book to show; he was actually one of the only lords in Westeros who actually cared about the smallfolk.
and Pod with the Golden Rod is born
I've been waiting the whole episode for yalls reaction to that last scene lmao
I know its because you guys think you know more than us, but youre constant ignorance and trying to call out the comments when you dont realize you are wrong is frustrating and hilarious. You guys arent humble at all. I still love you, but thats a hard, honest critique. Buckle up, the show keeps getting better!
Brother if you can't handle the boys banter maybe their content ain't for you
I mean I feel like they’re entitled to be wrong about stuff in a first watch. We all got stuff wrong on the first watch. Avoiding spoilers while leaving a comment is inherently vague; it’s not the reactors fault for misinterpreting vague information. I love watching people get things wildly wrong and realizing what the comments meant later on.
What did we call out comment wise that was wrong? We’re more than willing to admit when we’re wrong. Not sure how we’re supposed to do that when your comment says nothing other than saying we’re wrong with nothing to back that up
wait a few episodes and youll understand what those comments about the girl where ment ... people where actually tryinng to help point something out without spoiling
Which is in itself spoiling. They were totally right here, the comments were jumping to conclusions and assuming they didn't realize something that they were in fact aware of. Maybe they didn't get a specific spoiler thing that no first-time watcher would get, but that's not them being wrong or dumb, that's commenters being dicks and trying to spoil the show
Seen y'all's season 1 episode 1 reaction on YouTube, decided to get a paid membership to binge season 1. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity to watch season 2 I decided to get that diamond tier and binge watch all these. It helped my time in the hospital recovering from lung surgery go by quickly. And now watching season 3 at home has been the best $25 I've spent. Been absolutely loving y'all's reaction. Wanna say thank you for reacting to this show. You guys are becoming my favorite reaction to this so far.
POD
THE
ROD
You guys are awesome. Was seeing lots of comments wanting more of GOT after the whole season in one week and felt the same but understood you guys have lots on your plate but still managed to make us happy with some extra episodes. Thank you!!
The dude helping Theon was also Mick Mars in The Dirt.
Man they're going to be blown away when Hot Pie sits on the iron throne.
Wow, spoilers much?
Tyrrion Master of Coin and Podrick Master of DICK
I’d say stop getting mad at idiots in the comments but the idiots get mad at you guys so seems more than fair to me😂
We're not mad, more baffled at the stupidity more than anything
You could say they are "Sorta Stupid"
True
When Pycelle started talking at the small council meeting I literally said stfu in time with Sean did
Fans call him "Pod the Rod". I add in "The Eighth Westerosi God". :)
Be The joy! i promise i thought about it for 30 seconds before hitting enter o7 (maybe longer, i suck at counting)
Btw George the Author used real events and places from history to write the books. Like the wall is supposed to be the wall the romans built to keep out the Scottish, and the war of the 5 kings is heavily inspired by the wars of the roses (English wars) so yeah back then is more than acceptable to say about GoT
lol I mean I've read that too...but for him to claim a 500 ft wall of ice was inspired by Hadrian's Wall which was 15ft at most in height and 3 meters wide is crazy! I mean, why wouldn't it have been the Great Wall? It was supposedly built for the same reasons as Hadrian's. Weird thing about the Great Wall is, they say the Chinese built it to keep out the marauding hordes but for some reason all of the battlements are built facing into China...not away from it. True Story.
What do you mean "claim", Matt? He's literally the person who was inspired by a wall to make the 500ft wall up, and it was by his telling when he was standing on Hadrian's Wall thinking about how to the Romans, this was where civilization and normalcy ended. You can say "well the same could be said about the Great Wall", but that's not the wall he was on, so it's not the wall he based that on.
you dont know how thankfull I am for this
I don't even like GoT, I'm just here for the dick conversation.
Billy would bitch that the sky is blue and not teal
6:00 In the books, this scene is so much worse. (Spoilers)
Edmure attacked Tywin's forces as he retreated out of the riverlands, but the attacks delayed him enough to learn that Stannis had begun his attack on King's Landing, so he marched to save it (End of Season 2). Robb had wanted Stannis to take the Iron Throne, since Stannis would be more willing to negotiate, and they might pursue a meaningful peace.
There was a very real chance that, had Edmure follow Robb's orders, Stannis would have won the war.
Honestly disagree; 1) The idea that Stannis would negotiate with Robb is a complete farce, Stannis was as devoted to the rule of law, as Ned was to honor. He would literally pick the dumbest choice if it meant upholding the laws of westeros. ; 2) The Tyrells were already in negotiations with Tywin as he was in Harrenhal, so even if Tywin didn't find out, the Reach's forces were almost certainly already on their way to defend King's Landing against attack. And 3) to Edmure's eyes, and most military commanders in both modern day and the era ASOIAF is based off of, the lack of order against engaging when you're ordered to defend is an open-ended order, it was Robb's responsibility to inform him of the larger battleplan as the 2nd most powerful man in the realm, and one of his closest advisors
Hey Sean so the reason everyone was talking about Rob breaking his oath to marry a Frey girl from the twins bridge is because that is what lord Karstark ( the old man who was talking to Rob when Robs queen rode by ) MEANT when he told Rob " you lost the war the day you married her" because Rob was complaining about a lack of soilders, and when he married her, the Frey soilders that had been fighting with the North LEFT.
We know that, I think you misunderstood what he said
Yay more Game of Thrones episodes, I always look forward to it. Also you guys mentioning Lycans made me think of the Underworld movies. I hope one day you guys watch them if you havent
love
Thanks for the back to back GoT reactions, I've been loving these
Fun fact, the guy who plays the Blackfish is the same guy who voices Nicole's dad in Gumball
HAPPY HAPPY DAYS, thank you Ruff and Sean!
Everyone crying about 1 a week look hella stupid now
People would rather complain then read what the tier offers before signing up. Will likely never change, people like to complain on the internet and rarely take accountability sadly
What!! More GoT, you guys just made my week. Also, can't wait to start MHA again, haven't seen since high school, I think S3.
