   Always loved this episode. The Doctor was completely in the dark in an unknown horror. And it's a great showing of the human condition when fear gets the best of you, how out of control it can spread, and the compromises you make to feel "safe."

    A man being faced with reality but refusing to accept it and making up wrong answers based on his knowledge in arrogance, a women who lets her fear rule her and will go to the most barbaric means to feel secure, an insecure man who gives in to pressure to prove himself a man and won't admit fault so falls back on violence, a young adult who doesn't know what to think so constantly flip flops and tries to use what he's seeing while not being taken seriously, an authority figure who is genuinely trying to do the right thing but is scared and confused and Dee Dee who is basically just the young adult again.

    Such a great episode. No tardis, no companion, just the doctor coming face to face with the worst of humanity

    I completely forgot about this episode, but it's so underrated. It's very unique, where we don't learn about the antagonist and the Doctor doesn't save the day, and it all takes place in the same room. But god, that group was insufferable besides Jethro and Dee Dee
