Dead Rising 2006 sure seemed different with the top mall security

You probably won't see this, but the way I understood the last episode was that the old man at the end was the elf boy, and the creepy elf guy founded the town they were in (So he was already dead when Ben and the gang returned to normal, you see them read a plate in front of the statue at the end of the episode). The magical thingy was destroyed, but the curse was still up, so by delivering the gifts, they broke the curse, and everything went back to its original time. Like Jumanji or Zaltura, the boy was sent back to his original time, and so were Ben and the gang. And in this episode, I think the timing is better. It doesn't feel like the watch works when it needs to and stops to follow the show's plot. Like the time of the watch working and not isn't as cheesy as it was before. Although it looks like the watch timed out really quickly when Ben was the vine guy, you have to think about the time that passes in the show. Ben went to the top of the cliff in one scene, and in the next, he popped out of the ground to catch the wolf. To not waste time, they skipped ahead to the next important thing, so Ben had to dig underground and wait for the wolf to appear (Which took quite a bit of time). It's like when cops are outside a house to wait for the bad guy; we don't see all 8 hours they are waiting. We see when they arrive and then skip to the important part.
