Wednesday S2 Episode 1-2 Reaction
Like without any bias for the unimportant episodes skipping episode 3 is genuinely a terrible decision; it's one of the most consequential episodes in the whole show. The recap you guys watched also doesn't really help with the perceived problem of skipping episodes and kinda actually makes it worse; it's also riddled with small errors and weird choices, and I'm assuming is only popular because it's the shortest of the more detailed ones. I found a short 8-minute recap for season 1 and a 10-minute recap for season 2, both of them go through each episode you guys missed/will miss and are generally better at actually working with the best of format; I'll share the links later if you guys are interested, cause I'm assuming sharing links here would get my comment deleted.
In hindsight it’s a bit of a bummer looking back at all the many Clone Wars arcs we all as a community would have been unanimously happy with skipping to get to where we are now. Can’t change any of that now just sucks we are missing out on some great stories.
Yall have gotta go back to watch episode 3. I have no idea why the recap skipped it but its unanimously considered one of bad batches best episodes.
Are you going to watch the aphotecary diaries season 2? Season 3 is in making right now.
As a Star Wars fan...I actually don't mind the recaps and skipping around. I've done it myself for other medias too. I don't think you're truly missing that much by doing it, And this is from someone who's watched the entire show.
That's what I'm saying. People need to chill out a bit.
please don’t do rebels like this if you have to take a break like you do with my hero if rebels is gonna be handled like this that’d be very disappointing since i’ve been waiting for rebels don’t want to make it all about me but this kinda sucks i’m sticking with diamond cause i love your content and vibes but this isn’t it unfortunately
Billy...I know there are gonna be a good chunk of you (and I know for sure already quite a few of you) are gonna be upset on how they handled Bad Batch and Rebels, and I get it...but think of it like this...
With just those 2 shows combined...that's 122 episodes of television, only about 20 something episodes from being the length of Clone Wars...both Bad Batch and Rebels are fantastic Star Wars shows, but I can DEFINITELY see how they could potentially be burned out before they reach the live action stuff like Mando and Andor (which they plan to watch every episode of the LA shows since the shows aren't that long)
Will they miss some stuff, absolutely (unless they watch recap videos or watch certain other episodes in their own time) will they miss a bunch of episodes on both of those animated shows, yes...but at the end of the day I'd rather them get to the good stuff faster than not get to them at all.
I know Billys are gonna complain and say how they'll miss out on character growth and other details, but, as a MASSIVE Star Wars fan, this really isn't TOO big of a deal. Is it a bummer, for sure....is it understandable why they're doing it this way? Absolutely.
I, for one, would rather see them react to the big moments in those two shows in particular and get to the Live Action stuff than just quit after one of those shows and go on a hiatus like they're doing for SpongeBob.
Also, I've been seeing people threatening to unsubscribe and to cancel their membership because Star Wars was the only thing they watched the channel for, and they're upset about how the crew is experiencing Star Wars...like...so you only watched a single series and a dozen movies and just decide to bounce because they're not getting the experience you did? That honestly sounds like a you problem, Billy. I'm sorry, I don't normally say stuff like this but cry me a river.
I'm sorry if it upsets or even angers any of you (and I know this did) but this is just how it's gonna be, so either strap in for the still fun ride or get off and whine like crybabies. Star Wars is still being watched, it's just that the other 2 big animated shows are being watched in a very different way than what we're used to.
Sorry for the long tangent, I said my peace, I hope the upset Billys come to their senses, even if it's only a few of you. I will not be replying to anyone who says anything on this comment.
But there's no rush? And what's the point of even watching the show if you're just gonna skip most of the character building and story
You summarized it so well.
Get to the good stuff faster is subjective when for many of us they already skipped the good stuff 🤷🏻♂️ Also it’s clearly a lot more than a few people. Go look through any of the reactions. I can’t wait for this to hit YouTube just so I can see the comments. I love watching these guys, but I’m still gonna speak on this because Star Wars is the reason I found them and became a diamond member and at this point it is not just personal preference, but this way of doing it has made it extremely hard for me personally to follow and watch each week.
This is why I feel like you should watch Bad Batch at a different time and just watch all of Rebels, maybe an actual list for "filler". Cause doing this way guarantees that you won't get the views. You lose a lot of context this way even if you watched a recap. Bad Batch is standalone, not connected to the greater story. Unlike Rebels so when you get there, do a vote. Don't do this cause it isn't working for the audience who enjoys Bad Batch. Plus Rebels is connected to other Star Wars shows as well. I just think watching a whole show would make the enjoyment better.
you guys should watch the third episode of this season its really good
I really don't see the point in doing this show if your not going to actually watch it
Also this a pretty bad recap

As a a viewer this has been extremely difficult to follow even with having seen the show before. I don’t see how anyone can watch a reaction that starts one episode in the beginning of an arc then skips several episodes into the middle of a completely different arc. I’ve really tried to hang in there with it anyways, but it’s just not enjoyable at this point. Plus they’ve already skipped multiple fan favorite episodes. I’m really only looking forward to the Obi Wan reaction at this point because I already know Rebels is going to get the same treatment sadly.
At this point, just stop watching the show.
At this point, just let them do what they want, Billy.
You see, I was really hoping y'all would do this with the recap. Makes this whole thing much easier to digest.
PLEASE DONT SKIP EP 8
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ITS THE 2ND PART BASICALLY TO EP 7
Sounded like they will be watching 8 based on what was said on the end of the video.
Yall genuinely are fast tracking through so many episodes worth of character development and the themes of clones being phased out
I genuinely don’t get why you guys are even bothering with this. You either don’t have enough interest in the show or fear that you won’t get enough views so you’re doing this weird slipshod approach. You’re watching a recap and then jumping to episode seven of season two. That’s terrible. This is terrible. No really it’s terrible. Have I said terrible enough? Look I’m a happy diamond supporter and that that’s not gonna change but I just don’t get this.
They've gone over why They're doing this. Bad Batch combined with Rebels would be like 20 something episodes less than Clone Wars, and they just don't see themselves doing another 100+ episode journey before they get to the LA stuff. They've gone ahead and said if they went back and did Clone Wars, they could get that show done in less than a day with the amount of episodes they think were the best. Quite frankly, I'd much rather them watch the good stuff and get to the other good stuff faster rather than them not watching any of it at all due to burnout. We have several other reaction channels that have watched the entire thing, Billy. This is just a much different way of doing it.
First of all, I know Billy is the nickname they give the audience, but you aren’t them. And even if you were, you’re using it in such a dismissive and frankly insulting fashion that I’m just gonna say no. My name is Rebecca. You can call me that or you cannot call me anything at all. Secondly I’m fully aware of their explanation for why they’re doing this. I however do not agree and I feel quite free to comment to that end. If you don’t like it tough. I’m gonna keep saying what I think and feel. And if that bothers you well I think that’s a you problem. Why don’t you go pay attention to other comments instead?
I would agree with you if they were actually skipping filler, but they are using view count to measure what’s worth watching. There’s no way that starting a story arc that is 2 episodes long and only watching 1 of the episodes is “skipping filler”. I understood the reasoning, but using view count as a metric was a horrible idea in my opinion and clearly many others feel the same as well. Do this with any other show and I’d bet you’d see the same type of comments. Also saying there are other channels to watch doesn’t really help many of us are here because we like this channel and these guys. At this point it’s sucked the life out of my interest for their Star Wars reactions which just sucks, but I’m still here to watch the little bit of other stuff and show support. Nonetheless I’m still going to speak up on how I think this was a horrible idea.
I’m going to be blunt now. Like I was so excited for you guys to get to rebels, but if this is how you’re going to approach it, please don’t. Like just stop. It’s upsetting to see you treat shows that mean a lot to many people (myself included) so disrespectfully. A lot of creative put a ton of effort into making these shows. You can’t just fucking skip around like this. I mean, obviously you can, but you shouldn’t. It’s a slap in the face to everyone involved. Either commit the show or don’t. This half assed approach just makes you look like full assholes.
Yet they claim it’s only a minority of viewers who feel this way…
it is a minority of viewers who feel this way. We have statistics that aren't public. A comment section being overrun by the upset people doesn't change the reality of how many people are actually upset about the decisions
Even if it is technically a minority it still feels like it has been downplayed up until now with the poll. I appreciate you guys replying and being involved even when we are not all happy with the decisions being made, but for me it’s just made it hard to watch even if I ignore my opinion on the format. If I were able to still watch it and enjoy it I wouldn’t comment so much. So please don’t take it as me doubting your statements, but as a fan for some of us it’s hard to keep up with and it’s frustrating when you see you are not the only one.
Pretty sure it is, i think satisfied viewers don't bother commenting.
