Jeez it a war in the comments. Gonna have an open mind since i skip some stuff in marvel MCU stuff and don’t really get lost. Its like comics. If you don’t know a character you can go back and watch/read their story.
While I do enjoy all of Bad Batch and Rebels, I also think the commenters need to remember that these guys have a LOT of stuff to watch. WE like every episode because we’re fans of Star Wars. That’s why we’re all here and passionate enough to comment. We have enough spare time in our lives to appreciate more minor Star Wars projects like this. For all we know, these guys wouldn’t be watching the full series if it wasn’t a highly demanded show by US. They may not like Star Wars as much as we do, and that’s okay too. Chill out.
PS if there’s one Star Wars project I want them to watch, it’s Andor. They would love it
I really dislike you decision to skip episodes. If you are burnt out watch other things and come back. Lots of people are looking forward to you watching all of it and you will get views on all the videos if you don't skip. I understand being burnt out but skipping stuff especially in rebels which has an absolute ton of lore is wild tbh.
Saw Guerrera is best known in Rogue one and his come up in the Rebellion started in the clone wars.
I found Clone Wars (personally) EXTREMELY difficult to get through, to the point that I messaged people who'd seen the whole thing before to see what episodes/arcs I could skip. So I definitely understand being a little burnt out on SW shows. That being said, I enjoyed every minute of Rebels and Bad Batch. I do hope y'all watch every episode even off recording, if for no other reason than being able to follow the plot, but I also hope you reconsider at least your decision on Rebels. Bad Batch is fun, probably one of my favorites, but I agree with those who've said it's not crucial to understanding SW lore. Rebels, however, has lots of lore in it and is so much fun from start to finish. The arcs that I found so boring in Clone Wars (usually the more droid-centric ones) are a million times more enjoyable in Rebels, mostly because they don't last for twelve episodes, and also because Chopper is an infinitely better droid than R2 (and I'll die on that hill).

I can obviously only speak for myself. But the reason I'm upset about the skipping is because I've been looking forward to you guys reacting to Bad Batch and Rebels for months now. Admittedly, it's 100% on me for assuming you would do them all. I don't expect you to change anything based solely on one person's opinion. I just want you to know it comes from a place of disappointment, not hate. I genuinely love your guys content. It just sucks knowing you'll miss a bunch of the character building and world building that is in slower episodes. I apologize if any of my previous comments came off as hate or anger. I hope you guys get the same enjoyment out of these shows as I did. I'm just worried you won't, is all.
As for episodes that you should definitely watch, I think episodes 3, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, and 16 are the must watch episodes of season 1.
Don't forget 2, 4, 5, 6, and the rest too! Its a bit of a shame I resubbed to diamond tier to get half of a show...if that. I hope they read these comments and actually decide to watch the show instead of trying to save time.
Not sure who they are listening to thats telling them to avoid so much material, i just hope they watch it offline to get some of the context, just looking at the liikes on here its very clear the majority of comments getting love are for not skipping, and these are diamond members, so it seems they just listening to the minority? but i can understand if they want to get to other shows rather then the animated, but tell us.
As for bad batch for episodes 2-7, it still has allot of world building of stuff happening for the transition of the republic to the empire that you dont really get anywhere else.
I don’t think they are listening to anybody lol. This is simply them being lazy and skipping through the animations because what they really want to get to is Ahsoka and mandalorian. If they really cared about what we as paid subscribers wanted they would simply have done a poll on if they should or shouldn’t skip episodes for either series. They didn’t do a poll because they KNOW what the poll results would be and it’s about what they want versus what their subscribers want. Love this channel but it’s definitely not the same channel today that I was watching Teen Titans, Steven universe, young justice and Ben 10 alongside.
Yes, we are doing what we want to do. Ever since we started doing more of what we enjoyed and how we enjoy it, the channel has grown tremendously more. We don't use polls because almost everything voted has done worse than something we just decided to try. You're allowed to be upset, but acting like we care less now, than we used to is just silly. What we've done is learned what works and what doesn't
are you guys watching these offline at least? perhaps another option would be to watch a video recapping important elements as sort of a recap if doing large skips, I can only speak for myself, just want to make sure you guys get as much enjoyment out of the story and not miss anything important, things we make consider important may not be important for your enjoyment or vise versa but thats why its just nice to know your getting a chance to catch those details, even if its not recorded.
Damn you guys are going straight to ep 7/8? I surely hope u atleast watch the rest on your own time, like there’s no hurry if you’re doing it because you want to catch up to new shows lol. it’s like marvel they will always keep pumping out content so u just gotta take it at your own pace. I watched this other reactor called Alex Hefner who did like 4 episodes of Bad Batch once a week and he finished it off really quick and seemed to love it a lot . Ofc you guys have your own schedules but I would say bad batch is a whole lot less fillery than Rebels. Either way, hope you enjoy!

To be fair if you have only seen the movies once or twice it’s easy to forget things. We forget what it’s like because most of us have seen them multiple times

PLEASE don't listen to the whiners who are begging and threatening for you guys to not skip episodes here and Rebels. This show really isn't important for Star Wars lore overall and the only episodes you really NEED to worry about when it comes to Rebels are the ones with Ashoka and Darth Vader to get stuff that happens in other projects later on. Yeah I guess watch a good amount of it if you want but it's not necessary to watch most of it it's definitely not necessary to watch all of it.

Why are you shamelessly spoiling? Skipping because it's not important is YOUR OPINON but it sounds like you forgot that not everything in Star Wars is about Darth Vader and Ahsoka Tano. Bad Batch is an story about the dawn of the Empire and the Clones being phased-out. Rebels is about the formation of the Rebellion leading up to the Original Trilogy. These are absolutely important stories to the overall lore of Star Wars.

That is objectively wrong stop peddling this nonsense which also literally contains spoilers of character reveals. The Ahsoka show is a continuation of where Rebels left on and you are ignoring key characters like Kanan and Ezra because you don’t know because you didn’t watch it. I haven’t seen a single person threaten them so stop trying to play the “Star Wars fans are toxic card” to overlook factual information. Especially when like > 90% of the people here are in agreement. I mean no disrespect but you honestly don’t know what you are talking about. Skipping the story and character development of rebels to get to the Ahsoka series faster is not only lazy, but completely irreverent of the story that the Ahsoka series is built upon. Is it necessary to watch? Maybe not if you don’t care about the lore and just want to watch shows faster without knowing anything about the stories they’re built upon, but for anyone who actually wants to learn about the lore of pretty much anything recent, Rebels is key. The dark saber arc, Kanan and Ezra’s story, the development of the rebellion, you are ignoring multiple things that establish the basis of numerous plot points throughout multiple shows. Again no disrespect just commenting for discussion, but before you say something smart about “people whining” I suggest you do better research into the other story arcs you deliberately skipped and stopped trying to use the toxic fan stereotype as an excuse to convince someone to speed run a show and skip things you don’t even understand.

Definitely not the same with Rebels because there's way too many episodes that aren't worth spending time for when it comes to rebels. All they really need is this Soca and Darth Vader episodes to get them through understanding stuff that happens later on

Please watch all the episodes of the bad batch, there really isn't any filler in it, maybe 1 or 2 episodes. the bad batch and rebels are VERY different from the clone wars, the episodes are all one linear story. If you skip episodes then you are gonna get very lost very quickly. you'll miss plot points, you'll notice a character has changed and developed and have no idea why, just don't skip. whether you upload all of them or not is up to you, but it's definitely a bad idea to skip.
Just gonna throw my two cents in that I really don’t think this “best of” model is gonna work. I think as soon as you try to eyeball this based on engagement and skip an episode you’re immediately gonna be confused and I think that’s just gonna make people really angry, especially if you’re unclear on something because you skipped the episode right before it.
We've already recorded next weeks eps 1x7-8 and there was no confusion, it was all extremely clear and we had a blast
Ohhh my mixed feelings on the first episode retconning comic lore with Grey/ Styles and the FPJR Caleb still gets to me. I love this show but I can already feel my anxiety over the cardinal sins to come, and also the other Rebels situations to come... I'm not ready. 😅

I do not believe you will enjoy the Ahsoka series if you do not watch Rebels. It's essential. Rebels is more essential to that story than Clone Wars honestly.

Unlike clone wars which did have allot of filler with battles, thats not quite the same with bad batch or rebels, both are very narrative heavy, there may be episodes that didnt get allot of views or poorly rated but they were still important to the overall plot for the show and universe.
I still don't see the point in skipping sure there are episodes that can be labeled as filler but it's nothing like clone wars they are completely different shows. Bad batch and rebels are shows that you watch all the way through.

The foundation of Star Wars is built upon what came before. Clone wars is built upon the squeals and other shows are built upon Clone Wars. Rebels is built off of Clone Wars, and Ahsoka is built off of Rebels as a squeal to Rebels. Going forward Even though it may not seem like it but it will be deemed as important viewing material going forward. You really should watch Rebels and Bad Batch also they're linear stories, you'd literally be lost skipping around and will come across major spoilers doing it like that.

Honestly I don’t see a point in watching rebels and badbatch if you are going to skip through . These shows aren’t like clone wars and jump around. They have a linear story that continues off each episode like a normal show.
Exactly you nailed it. I been commenting this for a while. Clone Wars is very different from the other shows with its pacing and story telling and it feels like they are using it as a baseline when they shouldn’t really. Sadly thanks to the general reputation of the Star Wars fandom it probably comes across as us just being picky/toxic about viewing order when that’s not the case.
I hope whatever they used for finding filler episodes only comes down to like 2-4 episodes across the board. As you said this isnt like clone wars and each of these episodes actually means something

Filler in Clone Wars was exactly that… filler. Bad batch you could say has maybe a handful of filler episodes. Rebels on the other hand is heavily invested in its overall character development similar to shows like ATLA where we actually see the characters grow and change across episodes. Even the episodes you would call filler in Rebels still contribute to the overall story and development.
There rlly isn’t. Every episode is genuinely critical to character development. It’s not like you are jumping around to different characters and stories that don’t matter like the droid episode from clone wars for an example.
Do not skip episodes! Every episode is a direct continuation of the previous, the same goes for Rebels..
Skipping makes 100% for a show like The Clone Wars but unlike TCW these shows are continuous stories. Can’t stress this enough.

You guys are really gauging a lot off of your clone wars viewing when Clone Wars is paced very differently from BB & Rebels. Regardless it’s all love and respect. i feel like you need to watch the whole show to really appreciate it because even the 1 or two "filler" episodes still don't feel like filler
I cannot stress how bad an idea only doing a best of is because the best moments won't hit as hard as they did for us on our first time watching
Just because that's how you feel doesn't mean that what is and what needs to happen.
I know a lot of people were hoping for Rebels and for the crew to continue Star Wars by the Release Order. However, in retrospect, considering the crew can tend to forget things/certain moments.. watching all the shows chronologically just makes way more sense instead of jumping back and forth in the timeline constantly. Sure they might miss out on certain easter eggs and cameo’s they require context for but it will make for a more compelling and less confusing watch all the way until we get to the Ahsoka series (which sadly could be a while)
This may be bad advice (or I misinterpreted what y'all said), since other fans wanted y'all to watch Rebels first (although I personally feel as though you can watch TBB just fine without seeing Rebels first), but I feel like if you're gonna watch TBB you should probably watch the whole show instead of the best moments of them. There may be a stopping point in the episodes where you can watch other things and then come back to it, but this show is amazing and worth a full reaction.
