Hey like the reaction, still if anything. This is not one to skip through, kinda doesn't work that way like clone wars does sadly. Anyways I know a lot of the others here are moaning and whining. But just take it slow, no need to rush and just enjoy. Ignore the yappers.

P.S: You are defiantly gonna want to watch Rebels cause the stuff after that. like the Ashoka series really do connect to Rebels a lot. But anyways again enjoy the Star Wars fellas.

I will say however, most of the comments are right. You NEED to watch this series through. If you want to make a compilation of the important parts and best reactions, that would be fine for us. But this is not a bad guy of the week, jumping arcs type series like The Clone Wars was. It is an interconnected, linear story. Do NOT skip episodes.

Please watch all the episodes of the bad batch, there really isn't any filler in it, maybe 1 or 2 episodes. the bad batch and rebels are VERY different from the clone wars, the episodes are all one linear story. If you skip episodes then you are gonna get very lost very quickly. you'll miss plot points, you'll notice a character has changed and developed and have no idea why, just don't skip. whether you upload all of them or not is up to you, but it's definitely a bad idea to skip.

Just gonna throw my two cents in that I really don’t think this “best of” model is gonna work. I think as soon as you try to eyeball this based on engagement and skip an episode you’re immediately gonna be confused and I think that’s just gonna make people really angry, especially if you’re unclear on something because you skipped the episode right before it.

Ohhh my mixed feelings on the first episode retconning comic lore with Grey/ Styles and the FPJR Caleb still gets to me. I love this show but I can already feel my anxiety over the cardinal sins to come, and also the other Rebels situations to come... I'm not ready. 😅

If you are going to skip around what’s the point of watching the shows. I was fine sticking it out with you guys watching the shows out of order but if you guys are just going to make yourself confused it’s not worth watching so I’m going to cancel my diamond subscription. I’m not trying to be annoying or nagging. You guys can do what you want but I’m not going to pay $25 dollar just to watch you guys be confused

I do not believe you will enjoy the Ahsoka series if you do not watch Rebels. It's essential. Rebels is more essential to that story than Clone Wars honestly.

Unlike clone wars which did have allot of filler with battles, thats not quite the same with bad batch or rebels, both are very narrative heavy, there may be episodes that didnt get allot of views or poorly rated but they were still important to the overall plot for the show and universe.

The foundation of Star Wars is built upon what came before. Clone wars is built upon the squeals and other shows are built upon Clone Wars. Rebels is built off of Clone Wars, and Ahsoka is built off of Rebels as a squeal to Rebels. Going forward Even though it may not seem like it but it will be deemed as important viewing material going forward. You really should watch Rebels and Bad Batch also they're linear stories, you'd literally be lost skipping around and will come across major spoilers doing it like that.

Honestly I don’t see a point in watching rebels and badbatch if you are going to skip through . These shows aren’t like clone wars and jump around. They have a linear story that continues off each episode like a normal show.

Exactly you nailed it. I been commenting this for a while. Clone Wars is very different from the other shows with its pacing and story telling and it feels like they are using it as a baseline when they shouldn’t really. Sadly thanks to the general reputation of the Star Wars fandom it probably comes across as us just being picky/toxic about viewing order when that’s not the case.

Remember the padawans name Caleb for rebels. Since technically your supposed to know who he is by now cause most fans watched rebels first that was a satisfying cameo/background story for him. Since yall didn’t just remember who is when rebels comes around.

I personally fine with you guys skipping filler episodes because I wouldn’t watch them anyways but hope you guys don’t skip to much to where you don’t connect with the characters.

Filler in Clone Wars was exactly that… filler. Bad batch you could say has maybe a handful of filler episodes. Rebels on the other hand is heavily invested in its overall character development similar to shows like ATLA where we actually see the characters grow and change across episodes. Even the episodes you would call filler in Rebels still contribute to the overall story and development.

There rlly isn’t. Every episode is genuinely critical to character development. It’s not like you are jumping around to different characters and stories that don’t matter like the droid episode from clone wars for an example.

Do not skip episodes! Every episode is a direct continuation of the previous, the same goes for Rebels..

Skipping makes 100% for a show like The Clone Wars but unlike TCW these shows are continuous stories. Can’t stress this enough.

  Most likely not but we will be here to remind them and then it will click. I don’t expect them to remember everything, for many of us it’s easy to forget what it was like watching everything in Star Wars the first time. It’s a lot to take in for sure.

Was really hoping they would listen to some of the fans about Rebels first sadly Star Wars fans are now stereotyped as being toxic so it’s chalked up to that. Nonetheless it’s not the end of the world lol and I am still happy to be here and excited for the reaction. I still think skipping episodes is a huge mistake though. You guys are really gauging a lot off of your clone wars viewing when Clone Wars is paced very differently from BB & Rebels. Regardless it’s all love and respect. Looking forward o what the future holds for you guys!

i feel like you need to watch the whole show to really appreciate it because even the 1 or two "filler" episodes still don't feel like filler

I cannot stress how bad an idea only doing a best of is because the best moments won't hit as hard as they did for us on our first time watching

I know a lot of people were hoping for Rebels and for the crew to continue Star Wars by the Release Order. However, in retrospect, considering the crew can tend to forget things/certain moments.. watching all the shows chronologically just makes way more sense instead of jumping back and forth in the timeline constantly. Sure they might miss out on certain easter eggs and cameo’s they require context for but it will make for a more compelling and less confusing watch all the way until we get to the Ahsoka series (which sadly could be a while)

This may be bad advice (or I misinterpreted what y'all said), since other fans wanted y'all to watch Rebels first (although I personally feel as though you can watch TBB just fine without seeing Rebels first), but I feel like if you're gonna watch TBB you should probably watch the whole show instead of the best moments of them. There may be a stopping point in the episodes where you can watch other things and then come back to it, but this show is amazing and worth a full reaction.
