This title is giving me Dexter vibes. Question is will I be right about that.

I feel like the directing or something in this show is a bit off, because it feels like actors are kind of just standing there waiting for their cue before reacting or talking sometimes, instead of having more fluid and natural conversations. But I think it must just be that the source material is really good, because it still managed to carry my interest and attention and despite the show's flaws i still really liked it.

Although so far it's better than I remember, I think I was probably a bit high when I watched this for the first time, so that stuff just really stood out to me.

I completely forgot how unlikeable I found Pip. It's good to know that I am not the only one who thinks her lack of awareness and sensitivity of the situation just urks me the wrong way. It's a good thing the supporting and tertiary characters kept me watching the series.

Lack of awareness and sensitivity actually makes sense because she’s so obviously an undiagnosed autistic person, speaking as a diagnosed autistic person.

Thank you for taking the time to read and post a reply, Residentfan1. That is an excellent point and I agree with you, Pip's lack of awareness and sensitivity does make sense for her character as a portrayal of someone with undiagnosed autism or being on the neurodivergence spectrum. That doesn't mean I have to like every part of how she conducts her investigation or treats people. I DO like how she does acknowledge that when she has a hyperfixation, she loses sight of everything else (as someone who has ADHD and also gets like this, I understand the pull.)
