Tamaranean is the race Starfire is that you were thinking of. The struggle really is that the Titans themselves have ALL been on multiple teams so its not that they're trying to avoid Titans, there are just MORE characters and other teams. The DC Universe is pretty large and Young Justice touches on a lot of less commonly talked about characters. At least with where you're at now in the series, I agree that its not the time or place for Raven as they need to tee up WAY more magic stuff to dive into her story. I am jokingly called a human comic book encyclopedia among my friends so watching you guys ask such good questions about this sort of stuff makes you all fun to watch. :>

The reason cyborgs va from teen titans doesnt voice cyborg here, is uh, hes already voicing aqualad AND black lightning. while teen titans beast boy voice actor voices no one else in the show
The Teen Titans Go reference was more of a throw away joke against Go I think, or at least a tongue and cheek. The lead designer of Go was asked for the Doom Patrol character designs without being told what for, only to find out after this episode aired lol

I like the idea of Connor saying “all the kids are doing it” includes not only gar and perdita but also brion and violet (you can say him listening in is weird but consider brions power and personality and being left alone at home)
The live action doom patrol show is super fucking good and I reccomend it to you guys
Honestly my favorite from DC . Amazing series!
Doom Patrol is one of my favorite comic teams (and shows) of all time and the nightmare monkey episode felt right out of a classic Grant Morrison doom patrol comic. weird shit going on, meta elements being used for trauma instead of comedy, extremely focused on therapy and mental health, Negative Man/Woman has an inconsistent gender, random god stuff that somehow really works for the characters development, etc. That Doom Patrol show is FULL of episodes like that and I could not recommend it more. also it has a great cyborg.
Teen Titans Go kind of made fun of young justice in their 3rd season so we've come full circle I guess lol 🤷🏾♂️.

in the DCAMU & Snyderverse, it was a Motherbox that gave Cyborg his exoskeleton, as opposed to the Fatherbox used here.

The trauma episode is one of my favorite episodes of the show. It was heartbreaking to see Garfield still holding on to yearsbof trauma
