the universe the girl is in wasn't their universe, thats why they left at the end, Rick told Morty he wasn't wasting their own reality just teaching him a lesson, so they were in a different one lol. I love Ricks pettiness, this isn't my favorite moment of him doing something out of sheer stubbornness/pettiness, that's a few seasons from now, but, its definitely my 2nd one on the list lol.
