Id recommend the following guide for the live action star wars shows:
1. Could be watched now with no issues- Obiwan Kenobi which takes place after episode 3 (also not live actions but Visions is all standalone shorts that are stunning)
2. After finishing Clone Wars: Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett ( Mando 1, 2, bobf then mando 3). Mando season 1 would be overall fine to watch during clone wars (although some of the lore they mention might be confusing) but 2-3 have some big spoilers for clone wars.
3. After finishing Clone Wars and Rebels (animated series after clone wars): Ahsoka. Rebels gives a lot of content that comes up during the Ahsoka series. Ahsoka happens around the same time as Mando.
4. After watching Rogue One: Andor

As someone who grew up watching this show waiting for each new episode I loved ahsoka I grew up right along side her i never understood the hate she got. And after cw imo I would watch rebels before anything else especially if y'all want to watch the it's practically just a nother season of rebels in a good way lol

Feel free to watch season 1 of The Mandalorian whenever you'd as it is a standalone series but cautiously you should know there are insane Clone Wars spoilers in Season 2-3.

Rebels is the perfect followup to Clone Wars-- The Bad Batch may take place before that timeline wise but it has too many references to Rebels for it to be a better followup than Rebels.

The Clone Wars movie came out before the show. People who watched in release order already knew who Ahsoka was and about her nickname when this aired. There is no missing context.

I hope they see this... the word that describes this whole show is... Growth. We all agreed that Ahsoka was annoying and bratty when watching when it aired. But, the growth is incalculable. There's a reason that she has a live action show now. Remember through this whole show, Anakin and Obi-Wan are not really the main characters. Sure, we see their growth as well, and it is spectacular, but the creator of the show (Dave Filoni...also involved with Avatar:TLA) knew that through this disjointed anthology, Ahsoka and Captain Rex are the two true main characters of this show. They exhibit the most change through the clone wars. Anakin and Obi-Wan have amazing stories, and much revealed around them, but the character of Ahsoka is what remains, remains. Remains in our minds, in our hearts, and in Disney+ shows (and live action movies...hopefully)!

Yeah I get what you're saying, but Dave Filoni has said in interviews they wrote her as impulsive and impetuous as they did so she could grow. All I'm saying is that when I watched it growing up, I kinda was annoyed at her disobeying my heroes Anakin and Obi-Wan, but what this leads to... She becomes so much more, and they wrote her from a place of future potential. Think the episode Lightsaber Lost as a turn point of responsibility

Rebels has to come immediately after Clone Wars, this is not-optional in my SW viewing opinions.
Then I would do Bad Batch. After, it's Mando 1-2, Boba, Mando 3, and Ahsoka VERY VERY last. Obiwan and Andor can go anywhere after you finish Rebels and Rogue One.
The release order IRL is sometimes more important than the timeline order, especially when it comes to cameos and references.

So, for Mandalorian, you essentially only need to watch Clone Wars and Rebels prior to starting it. It'll be more rewarding for the characters.

One reason the regular battle droids are dumb is because they were never meant for war they were meant to be personal guard droids that got repurposed, so doing much more complicated task messing with their programming and the reason why they are not all super battle droids is simply because the regular one just are cheaper to make. The super battle droids were made for war and more complicated task so that's why they are smarter also the longer a droid is around the more they develop a personality

So before Ashoka the show Rebels is in between and is plot relevant HEAVILY. The show Bad Batch could be before or after Ashoka but is less connected to that and more connected to Clone Wars.

As far as the order of shows go, I strongly suggest you watch Star Wars: Rebels before watching Ahsoka. It's essentially a sequel series to Clone Wars, made by the same creator, and gives a massive amount of context for Ahsoka that you won't have otherwise. Rebels is also about half the length of Clone Wars if you were wondering, and it's a phenomenal show, so I highly recommend watching it after CW. Glad you guys are in the Star Wars deep dive now!!

Clone Wars and Rebels are the only shows particularly important to watch before you watch Mandalorian, in a number of ways and similarly Rebels is important to both Mandalorian AND Ahsoka, especially with the shows and movie coming out after Mandalorian. Because one guy, Dave Filoni, was at the head of all of those shows, Clone Wars, Rebels, and Mandalorian in that order. Everything else in the chronological order (Tales of the Jedi, Tales of the Empire, Andor, and The Bad Batch) are MOSTLY just shows to flesh out things you already know a bit about if you've seen Rogue One and finished Clone Wars.
BUT if you REALLY wanna watch Mandalorian you can of course watch it whenever, you just won't get as much from it and some lore might be slightly more confusing. Just DO NOT watch Ahsoka before finishing Clone Wars AND Rebels.

Grievous is actually the same person who voiced him in the movie he also voices all the battle droids in this show and post this show. About future shows yeah eventually you will have to watch the other movies. I would say watch Rebels next after the Clone Wars since it was the sequel show. After that you can watch shows like The Mandalorian and The Bad Batch. Obi-Wan and The Acolyte can be watched whenever since they are pretty standalone in terms of when in the timeline they take place. The Book of Boba Fett has to be watched before Season 3 of the Mandalorian. And Ahsoka must be watched after season 3 of the Mandalorian since those shows are connected. But make sure to complete until Rebels before watching those shows so you can understand everything better. I know some people watch the Bad Batch after Clone Wars but I think you get a better appreciation for it by watching Rebels first. Tales of the Jedi you can watch after Clone Wars, same as Tales of the Empire. Just some recommendations in that front.

As tempting as the life action shows might be, they have direct references to clone wars and rebels. And so at the very minimum would be full of spoilers. (And Ahsoka literally continues plotlines that were set up in Rebels, so watching it earlier could end up very confusing)
