A fandom thing that I love (which does not happen in the show) is Danny becoming the new ghost king after defeating Pariah Dark in single combat. There's TONS of art and fanfiction of what that would be like, what it would mean for Danny's relationship to the ghost zone and his enemies, etc. It's a lot of fun!

They did air it sometimes from what I remember although not as much as ultimate enemy 😅 😅. They did the same thing with abacatastrophe in FOP, they aired channel chasers a lot more.

Probably cause it’s a two parter and unless they had an hour block on tv, they can’t just show one part

My best guess is that since it was a story that Skulker was telling, he thought they took the crown off so he included that in the story when in reality they didn’t. At least I feel like that’s the best and most logical way to explain the inconsistency.

Is it strange that I think their misunderstanding Chicago part the most hilarious part of the video?

I’m gonna be honest. This is my least favorite major storyline. Mainly because Pariah Dark is uninteresting. He’s like Thanos in the comics. He’s just an asshole. There’s nothing interesting about that. Also he’s weak as fuck. They hype him up to be this incredibly powerful guy and then in that flashback the ghosts blast him with energy blast, pull the ring and crown off and imprison him with minimal effort. Then when he awakens, he just does nothing but sit around. He then goes down super quickly again. He’s like Sauron level weak. “Oh you cut my finger off! Guess I’ll explode now!” Pariah Dark is a fucking loser and the fact that he’s hyped up by all his enemies is absurd. He’s like Kai Leng from Mass Effect. He’s hyped up as a force to be reckoned with and every time he shows up, he gets fucked. Sorry for the rant guys.

I think the episode is good, but I can agree that King Pariah is not all that interesting. I kind of thought that as a kid, which is a shame because they have Brian Cox voicing him for crying out loud 🤔.

While I agree with you I would say that is only movie Sauron. He killed a lot of people all on his own, one of them being the great elven king, but because he was on his own he suffered many normally fatal blows. The ring kept his body held together despite the wounds of battle but once it was cut its power was severed and Sauron could no longer maintain his form, leading to his defeat. Hope I am not being too much of a bother with this comment.

I think the story skulker tells is supposed to be a legend. idk why they show it taking the crown when it likely just didn't happen. The reason i say this is because danny only takes the crown and locks him up with the ring, so the original people likely only took the ring and locked him in with the crown. or the crown was found and returned over the thousands of years but not the ring.

Warning, the next episode on paramount is a two parter but it canonically happens after episodes 6 & 7. Make sure to watch those first before the two parter or things will seem off.

About the thing with the crown I think the explanation for how it got back is the fact that there is a keyhole on the crown part of the sarcophagus. Someone could've opened just the top part with the key and put the crown back without actually letting him out. That might just be an off screen detail. As for where Amity Park is since it's within driving distance of Wisconsin it's probably in one of the states neighboring it. Illinois is next to it but Amity Park is not in Chicago.
Also in case your episode list doesnt tell you the next few episodes in paramount are out of order. The episode listed as episode 5 is actually supposed to come after the episodes listed as 6 and 7. If you watch episode 5 first you will get spoiled on a plot point that isnt supposed to have happened yet in those 2 episodes.

I understand they only did 1 episode last week so they wouldn’t have to split a 2 parter, but this is the ONLY instance where I’d actually have preferred the separated 2 consecutive episodes just so we could get the one after this a week earlier.

actually the one placed after this is out of order. It spoils something that happens in the 2 episodes placed after it so if they watched it today they wouldve gotten spoiled I feel like. I hope their episode list tells them which episodes are actually next.
