I love the "darker themes" conversation in the episode that includes the flashback to Danny *literally* dying. Like that's how he's half ghost. He died and was ressurected in the same moment in the ghost portal.
I think they have confirmed that Danny was just mutated, he didn't "die" necessarily 🤔.
I forgot they actually changed the intro too, after Danny got his logo. Man, I love this show. Season 2's gonna go wild and I can't wait.

You want a more grown Danny Phantom type story? It isn't official, and I'd HIGHLY suggest watching Ben 10 Omniverse in full first, but Kuro the Artist is making his own comic series called 5 Years Later, which has the worlds of Danny Phantom and Ben 10 crossing over set 5 years after both series have concluded, and its genuinely a great story. Full of absolute love for both series, it's a great time. Isn't official of course, but it's good enough I'd believe it was.
